Columbia spring immersion

Spring 2021

Through Columbia University's Pre-College Immersion Program, I took the "Creative Journalism" course virtually taught by journalist Laura Palmer. Over the course of the ten weeks, I learned different styles of journalism writing, how to pitch my work to publications, and how to network in this field.

At the end of the 10 weeks, we were asked to create a portfolio of all our work during the class and a reflection of what we learned.
