Marketing:
Inno education

Inno Education is a student-run, student-led organization that offers a 2-week interdisciplinary summer camp for middle schoolers focusing on learning to love learning. As Chief Marketing Officer, over the school year, I oversee a team of 30+ members on curricula creation, lead marketing initiatives to recruit applicants for counselors, and promote camp registration for potential campers through social medial pages and by connecting with community members and sponsors. This past fall, counselor applications increased by 360%, a record in Inno history. When it comes to managing our social media pages, I work with the marketing team to curate creative content to evoke an image of trustworthiness for parents/guardians of prospective customers and an image of fun and opportunity for potential counselor applications.

senior spotlight

Every other Sunday, we feature one of the seniors on our team. This is an opportunity for not only our followers to get to know some of our members but to also provide insight to potential applicants who may join the team as to what Inno has to offer. For parents/guardians of potential campers, this allows a sense of trust to be built by knowing the leaders of the organization better, even if it's from a brief post.

New Names

A new series we jumpstarted this year was "New Names", running in parallel with "Senior Spotlight." To celebrate our new members and for our followers to get to know more people, we created this series, followed by a concise Q&A slide.

Recruiting counselors

In order to become a counselor at Inno, one must apply. Late summer and early fall is our recruitment season. I create informative posts that serve as fliers and have the whole team repost them. Additionally, I reach out to counselors and members to promote this opportunity to underclassmen they know. I also enjoy throwing a creative activity in there, like the Inno Bingo we did in 2021, showing off the fun of the team.

Showing off the fun

We find out from most of our applicants that they applied to Inno because of all the fun they saw from our Instagram page. It helps promote ideas of strong team bond and a unique experience, very attractive attributes to high schoolers. So, I take advantage of various mediums to document and depict many aspects of what we do, from team bonding to an actual camp day, showing off the fun.
